According to TMZ, Jacob Elordi has been seen vacationing with influencer, Olivia Jade, and her famous parents, actress Lori Loughlin and clothing designer Mossimo Giannulli.
Although the couple’s relationship has been on and off for a few years, this trip might indicate that things are becoming more serious.
E! News has confirmed that the trip is to celebrate Olivia Jade’s 25th birthday. The two appeared to be enjoying their time together in Sardinia, Italy, as they read, sunbathed, and swam.
Wuthering Heights Controversy
The vacation comes in the midst of casting controversy for the actor.
Earlier this week, the announcement was made that Elordi will play the role of Heathcliff in the newest adaptation of Emily Bronte’s famous novel, Wuthering Heights. In the novels, Heathcliff is described as a wild and brooding orphan with dark skin, hair, and eyes.
The casting has faced a lot of controversy because many people do not believe that Elordi possesses the correct features to play the character and that there are other actors that would be more appropriate for the role.
Additionally, some see Olivia Jade’s parents, who are vacationing with them, as problematic. In 2020, both Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli served prison sentences for their part in a college bribery scandal, but they seem to be recovering well.
Unwinding and Enjoying Success
Although the actor is currently dealing with controversy, he has not publicly responded to the criticism.
In fact, it seems as if he’s letting it all roll of his back, and he looks relaxed and comfortable with his beautiful girlfriend and her family as they soak up the sun.

Now, Jacob Elordi will play Frankenstein’s monster in Guillermo del Toro’s new adaptation of Frankenstein. He was also recently cast as Heathcliff in Wuthering Heights along with Margot Robbie as Catherine Earnshaw.
