Did Emily Gold Die or Committed Suicide?
According to San Bernardino Coroner’s Office Emily committed suicide on September 13, 2024.
This incident happened after a month of Los Osos’ most recent appearance in the show.
Currently, there is little information but after the post-mortem, the whole picture will clear.
Rodrigo Jimenez; a California Highway Patrol (CHP) Public Information Officer reported that
on Friday night the varsity dance captain Emily Gold from Los Osos High School in Rancho
Cucamonga was found dead on the carpool lane.
He added that they came to know about this incident when a CHP officer responded to the call of
a pedestrian from lanes before midnight. He further added that a vehicle struck Emily in the
carpool lane and she died because of her injuries.
He said that an investigation is going on and if anyone knows additional information, s/he must contact Officer S. Gonzalez at 909-980-3449.
According to the San Bernardino Coroner’s Office, her death can be characterized as suicide.
While another source mentioned that there wasn’t any suicide note at the scene or on Emily.
How Los Osos Dance Team Express their Sentiments for Emily?
The team of Los Osos gave a tribute to Emily on their Instagram page where they titled her a
“Beautiful, loving, and kind” person who showcases all the values that a team needs to instill in
everyone such as strength, kindness, compassion, and humbleness.
They concluded by expressing their feeling that they miss her more than their words can express. While interacting with their supporters they thanked them for condolence and requested them for thoughts and prayers. They
also shared videos of their team showing their good time with Emily.
Emily Gold’s Family is in Mourning After Tragic Loss
For the monetary support to Emily’s family a GoFundMe page named “Community Supporting
for the Gold Family’s Loss” was created so the family manages expenses while going through
this tough time. A fundraiser Jeanette Fierro set an amount of $60,000 to be collected.

Los Osos dance team and Los Osos High School faced a great loss in the shape of Emily’s
suicide. So America’s Got Talent producers can honor Emily in the show as few last episodes of
the show are left to air. As a second option, they can add a tag at the end of the episode that
shows honor for Emily.
