Fox and Ye met and began dating after Kanye’s split with Kim Kardashian in 2021.
They met on New Year’s Eve in 2021 and were confirmed to be broken up on Valentine’s day of 2022, so it did not last long. However, in the interview, Fox details how arduous the relationship was for her.
What Does Julia Regret?
Fox feels like she was used as a “pawn,” and she did not want the relationship to be public. However, the relationship did become public without her consent and before she was comfortable with it.
According to Julia, she does “not want to be known for being anyone’s girlfriend,” which was what seemed to happen when she dated Kanye. There was never much privacy in the relationship.
She stated, “It was only a few weeks but enough to last me a lifetime.” Fox described the relationship as “probably the most uncomfortable position in my life.”
She also states that Ye offered to pay for plastic surgery and tried to get her to sign and NDA, and she was only allowed to wear outfits that had been put together by stylists and approved by Kanye.
Fox has credited her young son as her “grounding force” that gave her the strength and mental clarity to leave the relationship.
