While driving along the freeway with his son Samuel, Ben Affleck’s electric Ford Bronco broke down. The star actor and his twelve year old son were pictured riding the Tiffany blue-colored electric vehicle on Saturday prior to its malfunction.
The pair were dressed up for their outing, with Samuel in a stellar blue suit and Nike shoes. While his father was wearing a navy suit, brown leather shoes, and a tan trench coat.
The day, however, was cut short with Affleck’s truck being loaded on to the back of a tow truck and removed from the side of the highway. The pair was then seen on their phones and walking to a local gas station.
Affleck has been in the news most recently for his divorce from Jennifer Lopez. Because of this, he has been spending more time with his and ex Jennifer Garner’s three children: Violet (18), Seraphina (15), and Samuel (12).
Just last month Affleck was spotted shopping for Halloween costumes in Los Angeles. The couple have been spotted with one another at multiple events. They were seen attending kid’s back-to-school night and were completely cordial with one another.

Lopez initially filed for divorce on August 20, 2024 without legal representation and without a prenuptial agreement. In the weeks following the filing, Affleck was seen making public appearances with a new look, while both he and Lopez reportedly met with divorce attorney Laura Wasser to discuss financial arrangements.
One of the most difficult parts of the divorce for the couple are the finances. The couple, despite their immense wealth, never signed a prenup prior to their wedding. This makes the divorce rather complicated. Under California Law, all income and assets acquired during their marriage would be considered community property. Further issues would be their $68 million Beverly Hills mansion purchased in 2023, which is currently on the market. Finally, projects and earnings from both Affleck and Lopez during their marriage could be subject to division, including films, endorsement deals, and business ventures like Lopez’s Delola cocktail brand.
