Lana Del Rey broke social media when she confirmed her relationship with alligator tour guide Jeremy Dufrene. This relationship started all the way back in 2019. Well, it just got even juicier as there are rumors of Lana Del Rey’s secret marriage.
As confirmed by People magazine from Lafourche Parish Clerk of Court, Del Rey and Defrene obtained a marriage license on September 23. This license gave them 30 days to get married.
Lana Del Ray is one of the most popular singers to this day. This is why she broke in the Internet after publicly dating a boat captain in Louisiana. The couple met back in 2019 after Lana took one of his wildlife tours.
Dufrene is a captain for Arthur’s Airboat Tours, guiding tourists through the swamps and marshes. This offers a unique experience for guests to view local wildlife such as alligators, herons, egrets, and over 300 species of birds.
The couple went fully public on September 7th at Karen Elson’s wedding. They joined guests such as stars Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce at Karen Elson’s wedding. The couple even went with matching blue ensembles and was photographed holding hands as they left the event.
Secret Wedding
After the marriage license was obtained, Lana Del Rey’s secret wedding reportedly occurred on a Louisiana bayou where Jeremy had done tours. Lana was seen wearing a white dress with flowers as she walked down the aisle with her father. Jeremy was also spotted in a black suit with brown shoes.
Neither Lana nor Jeremy has confirmed their marriage, one employee at Arthur’s Airboat Tours has confirmed with People Magazine:
“The wedding ceremony and reception were both held in the same bayou where Jeremy operates his swamp boats tours. This is where they first met,” they said. “It’s a special place for them. It was a beautiful, relaxed, and family-focused wedding, the focus was just on their love story.”
